James O. Cox, 67 of Greenfield passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Lou Paugh Cox whom he married on September 18, 1970; five sons, Marvin Cox of Hillsboro, Bryan (Tammy Phillips) Cox of Greenfield, Michael (Emily) Cox of Greenfield, Jerrod Cox of Frankfort, and Joshua Cox of Greenfield; three daughters, Jennifer Cox of Greenfield, Carrie (Daniel) Nelson of Frankfort, and Sarah Cox of Chillicothe; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Douglas, Tommy, Kimberly, Tabitha, Lindsi, Jadyn, Malakai, Devan, and Anthony; one brother, John (Rose) Cox of Springfield; two sisters, Martha (Curt) Davis of Grove City and Joyce Clemons of Grove City; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place and then a memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Plug Run Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1586 Mingo Road, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 with Pastor David Marhoover officiating.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home of Greenfield is serving the family.
