Mary F. Blade, 88, of Washington C.H., passed away at Greenfield Hearth and Care on Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born January 1, 1925 to the late Marvin Hughey and Bessie Flora Penn Curtin in Highland county near Leesburg.
She was a receptionist to Dr. Anderson and Dr. Binzel. She was a member of McNair Presbyterian Church and assisted her husband, Bob in the family business, Blade and Sons Auto Body Shop Service.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1991, a brother Charles Curtin, and two sisters, Elsie Blade and Margaret Powell.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth and Keith Blade both of Washington C.H., a brother, Joseph John (Henryetta) Curtin of Wilmington, a sister, Ruth (James) Dellinger of Reynoldsburg, her grandchildren, Tiffany Blade, Melissa (Gary) Cornell, , Kristin Blade (Dustin Rinehart) and Brian Blade all of Washington C.H., Travis (Amber) Blade of San Antonio, Texas, and Tammy (Stacy) Neese of Woodstock Georgia. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morrow Funeral Home in Washington C.H. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at the Washington C.H. funeral home on Wednesday, March 13 from 6-8 p.m.
