Larry “Mike” Black, age 69 of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born August 13, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Forest and Laura Currington Black. He loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Wanda Black, to whom he married on October 27, 1970; four children, James “Bud” (Lisa) Hoskins of Pricetown, Yolanda (Steve) Green of Hillsboro, Joseph and Brian Black of Dayton; five grandchildren, Sean Smith of Indiana, Danielle Smith of Hillsboro, James Andrew Hoskins of Hillsboro, Mandy Green of Hillsboro and Bethany Green of Chillicothe; seven great grandchildren, Hannah, Skylar, Hunter, Landyn, Alexis, Ashton and Izabella; one sister, Myrna Cadwell of Chicago, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Phillabaum and one brother, Darius “Duke” Black. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
