George Thomas Woodruff, 89 of Sabina, passed away Wednesday morning,
March 6, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 27, 1923 in Sabina, the son of George Woodruff and
Amy Newland Woodruff and his step father, Warner Woodruff.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Orvaline Easter Woodruff.
Tom was a US Army veteran of WWII and retired from Mac Tools after 39
years. He was also associated with Ed Kuehn Rentals for several years
after his retirement.
Also a member of Sabina Church of Christ and Sabina Senior Citizens,
and the Community Men?s Group.
He is survived by his children, Lori L. Shepherd of Wilmington and
Brian (Teresa) Woodruff of Sabina.
Grandchildren, Loreli Privett, Daniel and Jeremy Dugan and Justin
Davis. Great grandchildren, Corey, Ian, and Andrew Privett, and Kylie
Davis.
Tom was also preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Crabtree, Charlotte
Shaw and Mildred Mitchell. And a brother, Darrell Woodruff.
A funeral service will be on Saturday at noon at the Littleton Funeral
Home, Sabina. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery. Visitation will
be on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service.
