Michael Gilbert, Sr., age 58 of Lynchburg, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Highland District Hospital.  He was born April 26, 1954 in Middletown, Ohio the son of the late William and Genevia Moore Gilbert.  He loved his family, was an avid motorcyclist, and enjoyed fishing.  He is survived by his wife Ada Jean Jones Gilbert; children, Jerricka Gilbert of Wilmington, Juanita Gilbert of Lynchburg, Erin Jones of Wilmington, Michael Gilbert, Jr. of Cincinnati, and April (Charles) Waggoner of South Lebanon; grandchildren, Bli Kretcheck, Michaela Gilbert, Sierra Davidson, Miranda Anderson, Zach Anderson, and Tanner Anderson; adopted son Kendrick Davidson; siblings, Bob (Shirley) Gilbert, Gary (Brenda) Gilbert, Joyce (Danny) Huddleson, Ron (Jenny) Gilbert, and Randall (Donna) Gilbert; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  The Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is serving the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit http://www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc/
