RALPH E. FAST, age 90, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 8:40 p.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home.

   He was born on April 12, 1922 in Pickaway County to Oliver and Della Mae Tanner Fast.  He worked as a boiler maker for many years.  He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during WWII.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #25 and the VFW #3762.

   Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bina Spangler Fast and siblings Carl Fast, David Fast, Marvene Furnace, Ruth Binkley, Geraldine Seymour and Alice Wilkin.

   Survivors include his children Rita (John) Biechler of Sandusky, Wanda Coil, Daisy (Steve) Shiltz, John (Carla) Woodrow, Ralph (Toni) Fast all of Washington CH and Linda (Tom) Hartsaugh of Circleville; special niece and nephew Audra Reed and Roger Spangler; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; sister Pauline Roberts, sister-in-law Helen Fast as well as a host of friends.

   The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hodge officiating with burial to follow at the White Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
