Mary Frances Pettit

Mary Frances Pettit, 83 of Washington C.H. went to be with our Lord 
and Savior, Saturday morning, February 16, 2013, surrounded by her 
family, friends and the loving caregivers of St. Catherine?s Manor.
Born October 17, 1929 in Clinton County, the daughter of Harry and 
Etta Williamson Williamson.
In 1946 she met Floyd Pettit, to whom she later married.  This union 
lasted for 41 years until his death in 1987.
Born to the young couple were three daughters,  Leona Bowman Curtis of 
Washington C.H., Sandie (Noah) Wilson of Washington C.H. and Martha 
?Martie? Pettit whom preceded December 18, 2012.
Mrs. Pettit attended Sabina Schools and retired from Ev?s Fine Foods 
where she prepared and cooked for the deli for several years.  She was 
a member of the Anchor Baptist Church and was a great cook and baker.  
She loved to bake apple or blackberry cobblers to give to her 
neighbors on Paint Street and her family.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Shelly Widdes, Monica 
?Precious? Massie, Lois Williams and Matt Wilson.
Great grandchildren, Melissa, Frankie, and Johny Williams, Preston and 
Bailey Bowman, Malee and Cameron Wilson, Megan Smith, Breghan and 
Margot Widdes, Amber Renee and Courtney Curnette, Jeremiah and Shyann 
Delarwelle.
Siblings, Deanie (Chuck) Morris of Good Hope, Norma Null and Donald 
(Donna) Williamson of Washington C.H., Ronald (Eva Jean) Williamson of 
Sabina and Calvin Williamson of Monroe.
She was also preceded in death by granddaughters, Amy Wilson and Lisa 
Bowman and son in laws, Leon Bowman and Paul Curtis.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at noon at the Littleton Funeral 
Home, Sabina.  Friends may call from 10:00 until time of service.
Burial will be in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.  A time of 
remberance and refreshments will be at the Anchor Baptist Church 
following the interment.
