Ruthanna Gray, 87, Lees Creek, passed peacefully Monday, February 11, 2013 at the home of her niece Lisa Lange and husband Mark where she had resided for the past 16 months. Ruthanna (Tootie) was born December 28, 1925 the daughter of the late Lee and Josephine Tucker Bean. She was a graduate of Wayne Township, class of 1942 and retired from the purchasing department of Randall-Textron after 40 years and was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald V. Gray whom she married March 23, 1946. Ruthanna is survived by her children Bruce (Margen) Gray, Valrico, FL and Penny (Rick) Fouch, Wilmington, grandchildren Michael (Lonnie) Gray, Candace (Jack) Manzella and Stephanie (Ken) Weiss, great grandchildren Carter Gray, Sophia Manzella and Kayla and Kassie Weiss, siblings William (Charlotte) Bean, Joan Brandenburg, Shirley Louderback, Robert Bean and Mary Jane Bentley and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers-in-law Roy Brandenburg, Delmar (Podge) Louderback and David Bentley and sister-in-law Shirley Bean. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 12:00 PM at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina with burial in the Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
