Freda Faye Shafer Hernley, 87, Sabina died on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Autumn Years Nursing Center. She was born in Adams County, Ohio the daughter of Tracy Warren and Gusta Clohe Hayslip Shafer. She married Orville Hernley on September 11, 1944 and he preceded her in 2001. She is survived by her two sons Robert (Luise) Hernley, Sabina and James (Donna) Hernley, Ponta Gorda, FL, four grandchildren Kathie (Charles “Bill”) Guy, Amy (David) Wishusen, Jeffery Hernley and Serenity (Dan) Johnson and several great grandchildren, her sister Gale Milum and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson Robert Ray Hernley, her sister Dora Reed and four brothers James “Dutch” Shafer, Vernon and Virgil Parks and Clyde Parks. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 3PM at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina with visitation from 2PM until time of service. Following cremation, burial will be in the Morris Chapel Cemetery.
