Glatis Aldridge, 77, of Sabina, died Thursday January 31, 2013 at
Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his
wife of 55 years, Jean Moomaw Aldridge. They were married on April
20, 1957.
He was born September 7, 1935 in Hillsboro, son of the late Glatis and
Mae Dodds Aldridge. He was a graduate of Leesburg High School and
attended University of Cincinnati. A former scoutmaster of Lees Creek
Troop #35, was a little league coach for many years and played
softball on the Cincinnati Milacron team. He retired from Cincinnati
Milacron in Wilmington after 35 years.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three children: Jeff
(Lori) Aldridge of Lebanon, Bev (Tony) Harper of Grove City, and David
(Penny) Aldridge of Grove City; three grandchildren, Dan Aldridge of
Youngstown, Ellen Aldridge of Lebanon, and Andy Harper of Grove City;
one brother, Charles (Ruth) Aldridge of St. Paris; and one
sister-in-law, Carol Davis of Greenfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers,
John Aldridge and Dale Aldridge; and three sisters, Frances Allender,
Ruth Douglas, and Louise Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the
Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina with visitation from noon until 1:00p.m.
Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
