Violet D. Rush, 82, of Washington C.H. passed away at Court House Manor on January 23, 2013. She was born July 26, 1930 to the late George and Edith Choko Domby in Logan County West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Rush Sr.
She had retired in 1983 as a Registered Nurse in Louisville KY. She was also a member of The Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons Robert Rush Jr., Henry Rush three brothers Joseph, George II and Frankie Dombie sister in law Elizabeth Domby and Neice Karen Domby and Nephew Joey Domby.
She is survived by her neices and nephews Stephan (Cathy) Domby of Columbia MD, Mark (Kathy) Domby Charlotte NC, Julia Domby Brown and George Domby III both of Wilmington NC, special friend Debbie Chrisman of Wash C.H., dear friends Lona Tanner and her husband of WV and Patti(Carl) Bailey and there daughter Katie all of Columbus, and many more lifetime friends and the staff and caregivers of Court House Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.m. on Friday , January 25, 2013 at the Morrow Funeral Home, in Washington C.H. with Danny Dodds officiating. Friends may call at the Morrow Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. Burial will be in the Cave Hill Cemetery Louisville KY.
