Rosie Maxine McCarty, 59, of Washington C.H. died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 4:35 a.m. at the Country Glenn Nursing and Therapy Center where she had been residing since June 10, 2011.
Mrs. McCarty was born April 2, 1953, in Vinton County, Ohio to Clifford and Scioto Dawson Seymour. She was a graduate of Olentangy High School and lived most of her life in Columbus before moving to Washington C.H.
She formerly worked at Panacea Products in Columbus.
Mrs. McCarty is survived by a son, Samuel Collins of Chillicothe; a daughter, Sherry Seagraves of Ashland, KY; four brothers, Pete Seymour of Chillicothe, Paul “Bud” Seymour of Seymour, IN, Melvin Seymour of PA and George Seymour of Delaware and two sisters, Shirley Roberts of Columbus and Virginia Hackney of Winston-Salem, NC.
Cremation will take place and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in the Washington Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
