Marion June Shirkey, 81, of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away at the Mount Carmel Medical Center West, Columbus. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Bloomingburg to the late Margaret Shirkey Baughn. Miss Shirkey was a 1952 graduate of the Mount Carmel College of Nursing and worked currently for Cardinal Orthopedic of Columbus.
She is survived by one brother Marion (Susanne) Baughn of Washington C.H. and one sister Patricia (Steve) Quinter of Fairborn, nephews Ross (Michele)Baughn of Washington C.H. and Zachary Quinter of Fairborn and nieces: Penny Carver of Darbydale, Sally (Bill) Bailey of Grove City and Jennifer (Rob) Madden of Green Hills. Several great nieces and nephews and special people in her life; the staff of Cardinal Orthopedic.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Morrow Funeral Home, Washington Court House with Danny Dodds officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from Thursday, 5-7 PM Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery at a later date.
