Douglas H. King, 76 of Highland, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at Heartland of Hillsboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis Doddridge King; five children, Terrance King of Maryland, Jonathan (Joy) King of Hillsboro, Jerry King of Winchester, Joy (Vernon) Harris of Grove City, and Timothy (Virginia) King of Hillsboro; ten grandchildren, Leeanna King Kersey, Chad King, Tyler King, Kris and Kaycee King, Jordan and Jessica Harris, and Emily, Madeline, and Nathaniel King; one great grandchild, Aiden Kersey; brother Norman (Patty) King; sister, Margaret Buttes; step brother Ron Focht; step sister, Karen Focht; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene

Burial: Hightop Cemetery

Visitation: 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at the church
