GLEN R. MICK, age 81, of Bainbridge, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 5:12 p.m. at Adena Medical Center.

   He was born on May 4, 1931 in Fayette County to Rodney and Flora Everhart Mick.  He retired from Armco Steel and also was the owner and operator of Mick’s Auto since 1975.  He enjoyed working on cars, watching football and spending time with his friends at Courtview Restaurant and Prime Meats and Deli.

   Glen was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Ethel Knisley and Martha Gee and one brother at infancy.

   Survivors include his wife, Janice Everhart Mick, whom he married on October 6, 2007; his children Steven (Naomi) Mick, Dave (Cathy) Mick, Janice “Jan” Mick, Pam Mick, Chuck (Nicki) Mick, Gary (Crystal) Mick and the mother of his children, Betty Mick; step-daughters Bonnie (B.J.) Cross and Karen (Mark) Bentley; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; siblings Emmitt (Ronette) Mick, Kenneth (Pat) Mick, Alice (Kenny) Houseman, Marjorie Stiffler, Roberta Watson, Margaret (Jim) Stewart as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

   The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Twin Township Cemetery of Borneville.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
