DORMAN KEMYON “KEM” KELLIS, age 48, of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 2, 1964 in Madison, Indiana to Darrell Clinton and Zetta Mae “Ruth” Kellis. His hobbies were cooking, fishing, watching Jeopardy and the Washington Redskins.
Kem was preceded in death by his father Darrell Kellis, grandparents Harvey and Nellie Kellis and John and Lila Cox.
Survivors include his mother Zetta Mae “Ruth” Kellis; his sons Joshua Kemyon Kellis of Columbus and John Adam Kellis of Sebring, Florida; sisters Diana (Eric)
Sams of Sabina, Mindy (Jeff) Ursell of Leesburg and brother Clinton Edwin Kellis of Rocky Fork Lake; nieces Jill Ellis, Monika Argeroplos, Elaina Ursell, Amber Phillips and Brittany Kellis and nephew Allen Ursell. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews as well as special friends Richard Sizemore, Don Scaggs, Luise Curtis, Angie McKnight and James Belew.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. Per his request, the memorial will be casual dress.
