James R. Potter

James R. Potter, 76, Wilmington died on December 6, 2012 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.  He was born in London, Ohio to the late  Lloyd M. Potter and Ruth E. Cummins Potter Early. He graduated from London High School, 1954.  He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1964.  He was a member of the US Trotting Association.  He retired as a horse trainer and has been working at Wal-Mart as a stocker.  He is survived by his wife Patricia Swartz Potter and his daughters Cindy Potter, Wilmington and Tammy Potter, Ft. Hood, TX and children Stanley Potter, Waverly, Nita Schultz, PA, Tina Carter, London, Ohio and  step son Bruce Baldwin, Missouri, ten grandchildren and siblings Connie Topps, Marilyn Bussey, John Potter, Sharon Porter, David Porter and Linda Price and step father Ernie Early.  James wish was to be cremated and there will be a private memorial at a later date.  The arrangements are under the direction of Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.
