Mary Anna Lee (Spires) Grooms, 68, of West Union, Ohio, and formerly of Lynx, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in West Union, Ohio. She was born October 15, 1944 in Rarden.
She was preceded in death by parents, Richard Pernie and Rouie Ellen (Ross) Spires and husband, Richard Donald Grooms.
She is survived by son, Don Grooms of Lynx; three granddaughters: Lela Grooms, Donna Grooms, and Ashley Grooms all of West Union; one grandson, Nathan Grooms of Lynx; three great grandchildren; two uncles and one aunt.
She was a nurse’s aide at the former Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was a 1962 graduate of the former Seaman High School in Seaman.

The graveside funeral service is Sunday, December 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Moore’s
Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek. Reverend John Spires will officiate.
