DARRELL E. “DUKE” MORRIS, age 56, of Sevring, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer.

   He was born March 10, 1956 in Washington CH to Charlie and Gloria “Deanie” Williamson Morris.  He was a 1975 Miami Trace High School graduate.  He was in the US Army for 15 years.  He enjoyed Nascar and followed the Gators and the Buckeyes.

   Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents and his grandson, Clint Allen Morris Jr.

   Survivors include his parents, his wife Candy Fager Morris, whom he married on July 23, 1994; his children Clint Allen (Leslie) Morris Sr., Trisha Purdin and Darrell Edward (Shay) Morris Jr.; step-son Daniel Joseph and step-daughter Amy Joseph; grandchildren; siblings Toni Rogers and Brenda (Raymond) Sever as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

   A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Good Hope Town Hall.  It was his wishes to be cremated.
