Wayne Hunter, 55 of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, 2012 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Seaman.

He is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Brenda Ann (Cain) Hunter, and she survives.  He is also survived by his father, Burchel Hunter, of Pleasant Plain; three sons, Eddie Lee (Mandy) Wendel of Williamsburg, Steve Wendel of Lynchburg and Mitch Wendel of Batavia; five grandchildren, Audrey, Robert, Angelina, Victoria and Joey Wendel; and a sister, Deborah Hunter of Pleasant Plain.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.

Burial: will follow in the Buford Cemetery

Visitation: 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at the funeral home in Lynchburg.
