SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy (Prater) Adkins; daughters Connie (Carl Jr) Storms, Tanya (Joe) Jenkins, Melody Adkins and one son Shawn (Cassie) Adkins; grandchildren, Caitlin Adkins, Destiny Bender, Ethan Adkins, Gabriel Adkins, Samuel Adkins, Kevin Jenkins, and Brian Jenkins; two step-granddaughters; Zandra Storms and Tonya Storms and two step great grandchildren, Faith Ann and Kenneth Moore; sisters; Donna (Tom) Smith, Loretta “Sis” (Gene) Brown, and Connie Adkins; brothers; Gary (Connie) Adkins and Larry (Francis) Adkins; sister-in-laws; Bonnie Shaffer, Sandra Prater, Barb Prater, Betty Prater, and Peg Prater; brother-in-law David (Debbie) Prater. He also had a lot of loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a wide variety of close friends who will miss him
SERVICES: 11 am Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Turner & Son Funeral Home
BURIAL: Resthaven Memory Gardens
VISITATION: 5-8 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
F.O.E services will be held at 8 pm
