Betty Lou Warner, 94, of Westerville, Ohio died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 1:03 p.m. at Edgewood Manor of Westerville where she had been residing since 2007.

Mrs. Warner was born November 30, 1917 in Pickaway County, Ohio near New Holland to Millard and Ruth Brooks Shaw.  She lived most of her life in Columbus.

Before her retirement, she was an executive secretary for the president at ABEX/Dennison Engineering in Columbus.  She later was a food demonstrator at Meijer’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Warner and a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Forrest Morris.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Pruitt of Gahanna; a granddaughter, Michelle Turner and her husband, Stacy, of Tampa, FL and a great grandson, Zachary Pruitt.

The funeral will be Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland with the Rev. James A. Kiger, Jr., chaplain for Hospice of Fayette Co., officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Holland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home in New Holland one hour prior to the service on Monday.
