Evelyn Virginia Campbell Knisley, 79, of Woodstock, Georgia died Friday, November 16, 2012, at 4:50 a.m. at her residence.
Mrs. Knisley was born May 11, 1933 in Pickaway County, Ohio near New Holland, to Earl and Martha Timmons Campbell. She was a 1951 graduate of New Holland High School. She moved to Georgia in 1988 from Brookville, IL.
She had worked at the Opinion Center in Brookville and later was a lecturer for Weight Watchers in Atlanta.
She enjoyed watching golf on television and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook for her family.
Mrs. Knisley is survived by her husband, Marvin Lewis Knisley whom she married November 18, 1951; by a son, Marvin Eugene Knisley and his wife, Beverly Ann, of Danbury, CT; a daughter, Benji Knisley and her husband, Shaun Keenan, of Somerville, ME; two grandchildren, Kristen Payne and her husband, Matt, of New York City and Kevin Michael Knisley and his wife, Kelly, of Danbury; a great granddaughter, Lily Anna Knisley; two brothers, Donald E. Campbell of Washington Court House and David Campbell and his wife, Pat, of Marietta, GA; a sister-in-law, Evelyn J. Conaton of Fruitland Park, FL and two brothers-in-law, Straud Knisley and his wife, Patricia, of Circleville and Roger Knisley and his wife, DeAnne, of Lawrenceburg, TN.
A memorial service for Evelyn Virginia Knisley, 79, of Woodstock, GA will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Roswell, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the New Holland Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Michael B. Thompson, pastor at the New Holland United Methodist Church, officiating.
Friends may call at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland one hour prior to the service on Friday.
