Darell E. Mitchell age 85 of Seaman, died Friday evening at the Ohio
Valley Manor where he had been a patient for two days.
Born July 1, 1927 the son of Homer and Elsie Mitchell Mitchell.
He served in the Army during World War II, was a self-employed
carpenter and attended the West Union Bible Baptist Church.
His wife, Marjorie Dawson Mitchell preceded him in death on March 31, 1992.
He is survived by his children, Wes (Claudia) Mitchell of Seaman, Mark
(Paula) Mitchell of Hillsboro, Jana Mitchell of Columbus, David (Lisa)
Cole and Carolyn Everman of Hillsboro.
Several grand and great grandchildren. Also a sister, Rosalee (Bud)
Berner of Sabina.
He was also preceded in death by sisters Regina Mitchell and Sue Ann Dawson.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Littleton
Funeral Home, Sabina.
Friends may call from 9:30 until the time of service.
Burial will be in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
