VIRGINIA B. WATSON, age 89, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 8:48 a.m. at the St. Catherine’s Care Center.
She was born on February 28, 1923 in New Holland to Charles and Kathryn Manbeavers Wood.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ernest L. “Jack” Watson in February of 2012 and brothers Floyd, Charles, Robert and Arthur Wood.
She is survived by her son Randy Watson and his fiancé Robin Dellman; granddaughters Ginger and Jacque Watson; brother Frank (Marguerite) Wood and sister Mary; brothers-in-law Hubert and Robert Watson.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, very much enjoying family and loving family life. She a very giving and caring person.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with burial to follow at the New Holland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 until the time of the service.
