Louis Edward Burnett, 78 of Hillsboro, formerly of Blanchester, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at his home.
He was born Nov. 11, 1934 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Charles L. and Margaret "Kate" Ellen Callihan Burnett. Louis was a veteran of the United States Army, and had retired as an Engineering Machinist from Keebler after more than 32 years of service.  He enjoyed carving and was a musician who loved bluegrass music.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Anna M. Lunsford Burnett, to who he married Nov. 20, 1955 at the home of her parents in Westboro. He is also survived by his children, Charles Edward (Ivonne) Burnett of Milford, Patricia Ann (Michael) Reany of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Candy Hedge of Hillsboro; grandchildren, April (Walter) Voline of Cincinnati, Jim McClanahan of Cincinnati, Natalie (Blake) Moore of Amelia, and Joshua (Kayla) Burnett of Eastgate; and great grandchildren, Paige and Peyton Voline.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Alice Dillbeck; and his father and mother-in-law Ben and Marie Lunsford.
Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro.  Rick Godlove, Chaplain with Community Care Hospice, will officiate.
Burial: will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. 
Visitation: will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
