CARL DAVID SNIDER JR., age 46, of Columbus, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 10:40 p.m. at the Grant Medical Center.
He was born on June 30, 1965 in Fayette County to Carl Snider Sr. and April Shockley Snider. He had attended the Fayette Progressive School and the Fayette Progressive Industry. He had attended the First Church of the Nazarene and the Staunton United Methodist Church where he was baptized.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, grandparents James and Margaret Shockley and Henry and Frances Snider.
Survivors include his mother April Snider of Washington CH, sister Melissa Jenkins of Lynchburg and brother Brian Snider of Washington CH; nieces Makayla and Timella Jenkins and Shelby Snider ; aunts Sharon Meister, Martha Woods, Faith Williams; uncle Emmett Snider as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins including Albert and Beth Ann Snider and Leslie Steele.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Newhouse officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
