Event to be held in Sabina will focus on the importance of Ohio’s agricultural industry at home and abroad.

Ohio Agriculture Day will be celebrated on March 15th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, with Ohio Department of Agriculture Director David T. Daniels and three Fayette County agribusinesses. This year’s celebration will focus on the importance of Ohio’s agricultural industry at home and abroad. It will be held at 292 North Howard St. in Sabina.

The day’s activities will start at the Feed the World facility, where staff will present an overview of its livestock inspection facility, which provides international livestock shipments to Turkey and other regions. Attendees will then depart to the Central Ohio Logistics Center for travel to Bluegrass Farms. This facility will showcase their state-of-the-art operation, which provides food-grade, identity-preserved soybeans to Korea and other parts of the world. The day’s activities will end at the Central Ohio Logistics Center with a brief, formal program.
