The flu-bug is getting a later than normal start in Ohio this winter
The annual flu season is late getting started this year and one physician says the mild weather really doesn't have anything to do with it.
Cleveland Clinic Dr. Susan Rehm encourages you to cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough, wash your hands frequently and stay home if you're sick.
Flu symptoms can easily be confused with having a cold. One word to keep in mind to tell the two apart is facts: Fever, aches, chilss, tiredness and sudden onset.
If you get the flu- Rehm advises you to visit your doctor within 48 hours so an antiviral medication can be prescribed to help you feel better faster.
