The regional hospital has been named in US News & World Report
The Adena Medical Center was recently ranked among the "Best Regional Hospitals" in the nation and its Pulmonology Services was recognized as "high-performing," in a survey conducted by US News & World Report.
Survival rates for pulmonology patients were "better than expected," and patient services and patient volumes were "high," according to the survey. Adena also was ranked as "superior" in keeping patients safe.
Adena operates the Greenfield hospital and an urgent clinic in Washington CH.
To be ranked as a "best regional hospital," organizations must be high performing in at least one of 16 specialties evaluated by US News & World Report.
