Minor injuries sustained in Friday collision.

Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash, Friday. According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, David K Mackey, of Xenia, was stationary on Route 435 east and attempted to turn onto I-71 North. Mackey entered the path of Paul W Prater, of Sabina, who was westbound on Route 435, causing a collision.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.

Mackey was cited for failing to yield.
