Two dead, two injured after a one car accident northeast of Cincinnati.

LOVELAND PARK, Ohio (AP) _ Authorities say a car veered off a highway in southwestern Ohio, struck a sign post and overturned, ejecting two backseat passengers who died at the scene.

The State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday along Interstate 71 in Deerfield Township, about 15 miles northeast of Cincinnati.

Sgt. Charles O'Bryon says witnesses reported the car rolled onto an 18-year-old man and he died. They said a 19-year-old woman thrown from the car was hit by a truck and died.

O'Bryon says it appears the car's lights were not on after the crash, making it harder for other drivers to see the scene in the dark.

The 19-year-old female driver and a 22-year-old passenger were injured. They were taken to hospitals.

All four people were from Wilmington. The crash remains under investigation.
