The Logan Elm High School student was beaten up by another student while waiting on his school bus.

A student attacked at a Pickaway County school and his mother believes his disabilities might have made him a target.

Tina Devault says her son was simply waiting for the bus that takes him from Logan Elm High School to the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center when another student hit him in the head and started kicking him.

Her son has five different disabilities, including autism. She says it's not the first time the other student has attacked her son.

Logan Elm Superintendent John Edgar confirmed that. He says the student has been disciplined and additional punishment is possible. The Pickaway County Sheriff's office is also investigating what happened.
