Melinda Adams and Dallas Clark were arrested and charged with illegal assembly of chemicals.

Authorities found two meth labs in Highland County's Paint Township on New Year's Eve. According to Sheriff Ron Ward, authorities tried to serve an arrest warrant at the first home where a strong chemical odor was detected and items used to make meth were found. Upon further investigation, a second home was found to be connected to this as well. A search of the second home yielded items used to make meth, a small amount of meth, and drug paraphernalia.

Melinda Adams and Dallas Clark, both 32-years-old and from Paint Township, were arrested and charged with illegal assembly of chemicals. Both are currently being held on probation violations out of Hillsboro Municipal Court on a $70,000.00 bond.

The case will be forwarded to the Highland County Prosecutor's Office and is anticipated to be presented to the Highland County Grand Jury, where additional charges are possible.
