The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle double fatality crash on Lytle Ferry Road in Warren County.
At 7:20 p.m. on December 30, 2011, The Lebanon Highway Patrol received a call of a single vehicle crash on Lytle Ferry Road in Wayne Township with wires down and two people entrapped.
The investigation uncovered that a silver 2003 Volkswagen Beetle convertible, driven by Jill Y. Williams, 43, of Waynesville was traveling south on Lytle Ferry Road when her vehicle went off the right side of the road, struck the ditch line, rotated around while rolling over and struck a utility pole. Also in the vehicle was Williams’s 7 year old son, Cole. Neither occupant was wearing a safety belt and both were killed in the crash.
No alcohol or drugs are suspected in this crash and this crash remains under investigation.
