The Wednesday accident occurred on State Route 38.
Two people were ejected from a vehicle after a crash on State Route 38, Wednesday morning. According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Miranda Smith was northbound on State Route 38 at 6:36am when she came upon a turning vehicle, applied her brakes, and then went off the right side of the road. She over-corrected, went across the road and off the left side, and the vehicle went airborne into a ditch.
The vehicle overturned twice, and Smith and passenger 34-year-old Randy Rinehart were ejected. They were taken to Fayette County Memorial by EMS.
Another passenger, 24-year-old Aaron Blouse was taken to Grant Medical Center.
Smith was cited for failure to control.
The Sheriff's Office also handled a fire engine crash on Tuesday. A crash report indicates 40-year-old John Kemme was westbound on Flakes Ford Road, responding to a fire call, when he lost control and struck a ditch on the west side of Creek Road at 7:30pm.
The fire engine belonged to the Washington CH FD.
There were no injuries.
