Four people die in Ohio everyday from accidental prescription drug overdose.
Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine says his office, along with the governor, are out to curb abuse of prescription drugs in the state.
A.G. Mike Dewine says there are "a few bad doctors out there, which are using profit motives to destroy other people's lives". Dewine called these doctors "illegal drug dealers".
While this problem exists through Ohio, he says southern Ohio seems to be the worst area for prescription drug abuse.
Dewine stated statistics that show four Ohioans die everyday from such accidental drug overdose, with two-thirds of these taking drugs not prescribed to them.
Another alarming stat is that 10%-20% of all new-born babies come into this world with a drug addiction, thanks to drug abuse from their mothers
