WCH Student Sentenced in "Tack" Incident

The student receives a 28-day sentence in juvenile detention, plus a few other items.

A Highland County Juvenile Court judge has sentenced a Washington CH High School student for an incident where the student pricked the hands of 28 McClain Football players n a post-game hand-shake.

Judge Kevin Greer sentenced the student to 28 days of juvenile detention and 280 hours of community service. The student must also pay $752 in restitution to McClain High School and issue apologies to each of the players involved.

The student had concealed the tack in a glove, when he was shaking hands with the McClain players after the game this fall.

The student pleaded guilty to the charges, then was sentenced Wednesday.
