The 20-year loan is for the Good Hope Sewer Project.
Fayette County Commissioners recently entered into an agreement with the Ohio EPA and the Ohio Water Development Authority for a water pollution control loan for the Good Hope Sewer Project. Total of eligible project costs is an estimated $2.3 million with the principal forgiveness amount being $1.7 million and the total borrowing cost $593,893. The term of loan is 20 years at 0% interest payable with wastewater revenues.
Commissioners also accepted a bid from Marquee Construction for building alterations for the Fayette County Board of Elections. Total amount is $162,500.
