Parents with autistic children are encouraged to participate in the informational opportunity

Parents of young children with autism and other disabilities that may result in communication delays, are invited to attend a locally hosted webinar presentation November 9th from 10am-11am.

"To Tech or Not to Tech- The Pros and Cons of Using Technology with Young Children with Autism." will be hosted by the Fayette County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Local agencies are promoting the webinar and some will have staff in attendance to answer parents’ questions about services available locally. On November 16, at 10am, there will be a follow up Family to Family Sharing Webinar facilitated by the Family Information Network of Ohio. This will give parents of young children with autism the opportunity to talk and share via the Web. This is open to all families regardless of their participation in the "To Tech or Not to Tech Webinar."

To register, call Melissa Smith at 335-5111 no later than Monday, November 7.
