An earlier injury crash Saturday, caused another motorist to hit a utility pole that was knocked-down by the first crash
A traffic accident appears to have led to a second crash over the weekend in Fayette County.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover accident that occurred on Greenfield-Sabina Road Saturday. Reports indicate that Steven McMahan of Greenfield was eastbound near Cross Road when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a utility pole.
Prior to Deputies arrival at the scene, a 2004 GMC operated by Linda Green of Greenfield struck the utility pole that was lying across the roadway causing damage.
No injuries were reported to Green, although the original crash resulted in injuries to Mr. McMahan was transported to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. McMahan was cited for Failure to Control.
