Students will be collecting food for local pantries

Hillsboro High School students will be trick or treating this year for food. The school's Thespian troupe will be participating in the Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat program, a national community service program to collect canned and dry goods for local charities and food banks.

Theatre students from HHS will be dressed in costumes to collect food donations during the BooFest activities in Uptown Hillsboro on October 27th from 5:00-7:00pm. These donations will benefit Our Daily Bread. Donations can also be dropped off during regular business hours at Beech Street on Main on October 25-27 and during BooFest. Students can also bring canned goods to the school and drop them off in Room 2931.

Thousands of pounds of food will be collected in one night across the state during the Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat event, giving organizations the ability to help thousands of local people.
