The driver lost control on SR. 41 early Thursday afternoon.

A Greenfield man was transported to Fayette Memorial Hospital this afternoon after a single vehicle crash.

The Fayette County Sheriff's office reports that 25 year old Garrett S. Butcher was operating a 2011 Toyota northbound on SR 41 when he failed to negotiate Halliday's curve. He traveled off the east side of the roadway and struck a tree. Butcher was then transported by life squad to Fayette Memorial Hospital for treatment for non-incapacitating injuries sustained during the crash.

He was cited for failure to control.
