The 32-mile-path now connects Washington CH with Chillicothe after 21 years of planning
After 21 years of planning, the 32-mile-bike-trail that connects Chillicothe and Washington Court House is now complete. Ceremonies were held Monday afternoon at the county line on Fairview Road.
The Triangle Trail was dedicated at the county line with the driving of a "golden spike"- reminiscent of the spike the connected the rail-line that connected the continental divide more than a century ago.

Triangle Trail Association leader Jackie Doles says while government grants were big in making this a reality, but they were not the only funds raised as many private donations also played a major role in the over $2.3 million in funding that went to the trail.

Ross County Park District Director Gary Merkamp says cooperation between the two counties for the project has been good, although Fayette doesn't have nearly the same amount of trail, but that will change with recent land purchases in Fayette County.

In Fayette County, the trail leads to the Washington CH Industrial Park- which is just a mile from the city limits, where the bike trail resumes.
