The Highland County Board of DD has hired Fred Williams to serve as interim superintendent for a six month term.
The Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities has hired an interim superintendent, to replace Chuck Biggert who was terminated following allegations of intimidation and bullying against emplyees.
According to the Highland County Press, the Board met in a special session Wednesday and voted 4-0 to hire current Fayette County Board of DD superintendent, Fred Williams.
Williams will serve the Highland County board, as well as the Fayette County Board for a term of six months. Six months was the longest term the Ohio Association of Boards of DD would allow for an interim superintendent. Williams contract goes into effect today.
