The Southern Ohio Genealogical Society will be offering a program to assist those interested in beginning a project of tracing their family or continuing research they had previously started. The program will be held Thursday evening, October 13th at 7:00 p.m. at the Highland County Service Center, 1487 North High Street, Hillsboro.
Participants will receive genealogical tools necessary to get started. Sources and methods that can be used to track family members will be introduced, as well has how to properly interpret information once located.
Attendees will receive free starter packets to begin or continue their own family research. The program is open to the public and there is no charge.
