Greenfield Police Chief Tim Hester announced that the Washington C.H. student responsible for injuring several Greenfield football players at last Friday night's game has been identified. The teen has been identified as a 16 year old boy whowas on the bench that evening and was ineligible to play.
Chief Hester said his department has spoken with the mother of the teen who said they would be seeking the advice of an attorney.
The incident came to light after a Washington vs Greenfield football game when several Greenfield players complained about being pricked after shaking hands with the Washington players. Hester said he believed a tack hidden in the player's glove was used to cause the injury.
