Volley for the Cure will raise funds for Susan G. Komen Foundation
In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, the community is invited to a “Volley for the Cure” match at Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro Tuesday, October 11th. The Lady Patriots will take on Clark State Community College at 6 p.m. in the Patriot Center. The SSCC Athletic Department is hosting the fundraising event and proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Affiliate.
In addition to the October 11th match, the Lady Patriots will further their fundraising goal by challenging a team of Southern State faculty and staff members. That game is scheduled for Thursday, October 20th, at 6 p.m. in the Patriot Center.
