Authorities say they arrested Chad Simpson on a felony charge of illegal manufacture.
Authorities in Highland County arrested a man after finding a one-pot meth lab at a home in Union Township. In a news release, Sheriff Richard Warner said deputies served a search warrant at a home on the 11,000-block of Noble Road, Monday, and found a one-pot meth lab, items commonly used to make meth, and the finished product.
23-year-old Chad Simpson, of New Vienna, was arrested for illegal manufacturing of drugs, a second-degree felony, and will be arraigned in the Hillsboro Municipal Court on Wednesday, according to Sheriff Warner.
The case remains under investigation, and additional charges are pending, said Sheriff Warner.
