Authorities say the man was found with heroin, Thursday.
A Dayton man was taken to the Fayette County jail following a traffic stop in Washington CH, Thursday. Authorities say 47-year-old Robert Smith was pulled over on North Street at 1:12pm and a check of his license revealed he was under suspension and wanted in Montgomery County for possession of heroin.
Authorities say they searched his vehicle and found heroin, items used in the sale of heroin, three Ohio Direction Cards that did not belong to Smith, and prescription drugs that were not prescribed to him.
Smith was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, three counts of possession of dangerous drugs, and three counts of illegal possession of food stamps.
